I get down on their level and try to talk with them in a calming voice. I make sure to take time with shy students and am careful to include them with others even when they have a hard time speaking up. I do everything BIG. BIG voice, BIG gestures, BIG activities. I always try to keep the energy up to make the class exciting. I rarely stick to the exact plans and adjust the activities for the each individual class to give them all a unique and personal experience. I make sure to smile and encourage them while at the same time not pushing them too hard. I encourage them but at their own pace so they can ease into it and get comfortable. [訳]たえず笑顔、褒める、そして無理強いをしない！こどものペースで、ゆっくり落ち着いてレッスンに入ってもらえるよう心がけています。
I try and be as energetic as I can. I also try to get to know their likes and dislikes so I can use them to their advantage when teaching.
